if you didnt already know, im a huge fan of meg and dia. is it weird to say that ive been listening to their discography for a year straight?
a few weeks ago i was pondering the idea of what makes me love this band so much. aside from how attractive the duo is, when i listen to them, they give me this strong sense of nostalgia.
my friends used to really be into them, my freshman year. thats the feel i get when i listen to them, like im a freshman in high school yet again, when everything was ‘simple and clean’…
thats when i came to the conclusion, the reason why i get that sensation is because its the same sensation i get when i listen to simple and clean by utada. theyre two completely different genres of music, the connection between the two is something i just cant explain…
maybe they just remind me of a better time? yeah, thats it, a better time. when everyone wasnt as fucked up.
